Abstract
Many AI efforts aim at helping individuals solve problems, but not all are helpful. This paper focuses on the problem of automated assistance and to what extent they provide real service to end users, something Christians should be concerned with as Jesus' disciples. This would be helped by a better understanding of what service is, which such programs often lack. Genuine service should be relevant, reliable, and promote trust in the results. [A, CJ]
