Abstract
The article features I-TEC's flying car Maverick Sport developed by Indigenous People's Technology and Education Center founder Steve Saint to help sustain the church by transporting preacher-pilots to uncharted areas. At the general aviation Dunnellon Airport where I-TEC operates, the first plane designed for the Ecuadorian tribe Waodani still hangs from the rafters. The first Maverick prototype received the 2009 Best Innovation award from "Popular Mechanics." The team who built Maverick includes Troy Townsend, Steve Buer, and Gene Walrath.
