Abstract
The article presents a discussion of Mammon as a rival and alternative to God and a demonic power, adapted from the book "The Life We're Looking For: Reclaiming Relationship in a Technological World" by Andy Crouch. It ponders on the use of technology for economic profit and the opposing aims of God and Mammon, which are flourishing of creation and exploitation of creation, respectively. It explains the concept of household as a companion of closeness and community of recognition.
