Abstract
Northwest Nazarene University’s BS in Engineering integrates mission-oriented, compassionate engineering into a year-long capstone. The course structure, outcomes, client engagement, and project management are outlined, with case studies including a portable polyurethane block-molding plant for church construction in Peru and a multi-phase master plan for the Kudjip Nazarene Hospital Mission Station in Papua New Guinea. The approach seeks professional excellence while forming servant-leaders who address physical and spiritual needs through engineering.
